Making Magic!

Shooting Food is an Art

Creating dazzling visuals requires a team with years of lighting expertise and dramatic ideas.  Broadcast quality food commercials are typically done in a studio where each shot is designed to maximize value of the imagery and deliver results.

With budgets from small to bigger, the ABC’s for a full service video production can range from:

  • A)  A plan on paper… to a storyboard,
  • B) Production teams on location shooting 2-20 dishes exemplifying extreme focus.
  • C) Crafting state of the art video content frame by frame to find that sweet spot assures that the attention to detail during the shoot does not become an editing problem that is fixed in post.

Getting a distinctive, unparalleled video is not achieved thru luck.  It requires dynamic content that elevates your business above the competition by a production team with multiple video campaigns under the belt, efficient execution, hard work, and passion.  Of course, the payoff on these shoots is when the food tastes as incredible as the commercial!

Its always fun to work on location!

The Best Team for Adventure Videos

Finding a video production team who works well under pressure and goes the distance to capture the experience, requires knowledge of the terrain, destination and client goals.   Adventure videos are an opportunity to break out all the toys and capture incredible footage while enjoying the beauty of the islands.

With many tours offered by Kauai ATV, our goal was to hit them all at the right time of day with the best camera and angles.   Being a stealth production team, our gear for land, water and air must be readily available and safe.  Daily operations of our clients interfere with the shoot when the production team has a full itinerary of their own and needs to stay on time and on schedule.  To avoid possible client complaints and lost revenue while filming, Kauai ATV provided a crash course in their tours, vistas and vehicles.

When preparing budgets for a video shoot like this, the client not only has the production investment, as well as the cost of operations should there be delays or other challenges.  We were grateful for Kauai ATV’s staff, and friends who understood that creating a commercial that brings the client’s message to life requires one more take before it’s a wrap 🙂
